If you are looking for a freelance SEO consultant in Sydney, there is every chance you have been driven to do this, due to the poor service you have received from your current SEO firm.
I am Greg Gillespie, an SEO consultant with a difference. I tell it how it really is, in this often confusing world of search engine optimisation.
Freelance SEO Consultant Sydney
With so many conflicting ideas about SEO floating around, you can be forgiven if the whole issue of search engine optimisation is something you find very confusing.
On top of the fact that this industry is filled with so-called experts who will impress you with talk of Google white hat seo tactics that go strictly by the book, who take your money with promises of great results down the track. But down the track those results never eventuate.
It’s no mystery that Google keep very tight lipped about their secret algorithm that determines who ranks at the top of the search results. They have a vested interest in maintaining the integrity of the search results, keeping everyone assured these are the results that represent the best of the best.
If you’ve been playing by the Google guidelines, and found that your search rankings are not what you expected, then it is time to find out exactly what needs to be done to go “one better” than your competitors.
Top rankings are achievable when you do what Google really wants, and not what they tell you that they want. This is the difference between good effective SEO and poor results and total frustration.
I have been providing top rankings to companies in Australia, the US and other countries around the globe, since 2009. So if real results are what you are looking for, then we should meet to discuss how I can help. Asap.
the Post SEO Era
Beginning in early 2012 Google began their aggressive algorithm updates, that were designed to make, ranking in their search results, a heck of a lot harder.
Initially code named “Farmer” – their first update was designed to prevent search results manipulation from using “link farm” backlinks on websites such as article directories. These types of links were deemed to be too easy to get and therefore low in value.
Overnight webmasters were reduced to tears as they saw the devastating affects that this produced for website traffic. Google had made a point, they were not to be “gamed” by what they began to refer to as spammy tactics.
23 Google Updates To Date
Fast forward across the years to 2017 and after 23 such devastating updates to their algorithm, most people have giving up on trying to game the search engines, and have resorted to paying for Google Adwords or PPC (pay per click) – paid traffic.
Just think, how disheartening twenty plus algorithm updates, with names such as Penguin, Panda, Pigeon, ( a range of page layout, payday loans, mobile friendly) modifications and most recently a major departure of many of the industry’s key spokespeople, as Danny Sullivan, Matt Cutts, Rand Fishkin and others, that the average person is completely done with SEO.
2018 SEO And Beyond
We are now moving into 2018 in what has become known as the “Post SEO Era” – where ranking in Google is now something earned and not brought about by cheap SEO tricks.
Does this mean that SEO is now officially dead?
Absolutely not, it is just a whole lot harder to do, but still very doable. If you wish to find out how, then click below to find out how I have helped dozens of clients these past 8 or 9 years to get real, lasting results.
You simply cannot trust a company that is up against it from the outset. This is something that your business just cannot afford to do, so I know how you feel if this has been your experience with search engine optimisation companies.
It is no surprise to many, that the science of SEO has become more difficult to master, due to Google’s Panda and Penguin algorithm changes.
Once the domain of just pure hard work, the top positions in the serps (search engine results pages) are now more than ever a difficult thing to achieve, especially so when Google refuse to tell you what it is exactly they want your website to do.
Here is where my industry, insider knowledge comes into play.
Acting independent of any out dated company policies and seo techniques, I am in the enviable position of being able to respond quickly to changes and in many instances anticipate the next moves the search engines are going to make, which brings the obvious advantages to your business bottom-line.
SEO is still highly technical endeavour and I work with teams of consultants and knowledge workers in 3 different continents including Australia, the UK and the United States.
